These 2 units were originally built by owners as private residences. They were designed to take full advantage of their oceanfront locations.

The Villa featured below has a large deck built over the beach with superior ocean views and a uniquely carved tree in the centre of the Villa.

The other Villa features a wall of glass doors that completely opens to the outside deck from the living and bedroom areas.

Both have vaulted ceilings and tasteful furniture which contribute to the feeling of style and elegance. Other amenities include kitchens, wireless internet, air conditioning and cable TV with DVD/CD player.

Both are located on medium bank waterfront with stunning western facing ocean views.

Hideaway has eleven free-standing One Bedroom Bungalows. The bungalows are situated on low bank waterfront with spectacular views of Mele Bay.

The units have vaulted ceilings and are tastefully decorated in tropical style. They are approximately 60 square metres inside and also feature a covered porch with a double hammock and a table with 2 chairs which are perfect for relaxation as you enjoy the stunning view.

Amenities include a bar fridge and coffee/tea making facilities.

Hideaway has two One-Bedroom Bungalows that share one common wall with a home on the island. Both bungalows feature the same amenities found in all Hideaway bungalows and are situated on low bank waterfront.

The six Twin-Share beach units are situated on the beach and are attractively priced for the budget traveler. These rooms are a perfect size for a single or 2 adults traveling together. The building has a wide wrap around covered veranda with tables and chairs which are ideal for lounging and taking in the dramatic water views.

These fan cooled rooms are furnished with double or twin beds, a bar fridge, clothes cupboard and a hand basin. Two shower and toilet facilities are adjacent and are available for use by the six Twin Share rooms.

Children under 16 are not allowed in the twin share rooms unless all of the rooms are booked out for a children’s group.

In addition…you will have the free use of snorkel gear and other non-motorized watersports equipment and can join in on the snorkel tour each day at noon. Getting to town is simple, our ferry operates 24 hours a day and is free of charge, buses wait on the mainland beach all day and the fare to town is only 300 vt per person. Throw in the free wi-fi on our beach, our book exchange and TV/Video in the dorm lounge, hot showers and great views, and you’ll see Hideaway is the perfect spot to relax and recharge away from the bustle of town, while still being just a short bus journey away. The dormitory is a large building with 6 quad share rooms, a central lounge area and toilet and shower facilities. Each fan cooled room has two bunk beds with individual bunk lights, power outlet and locker.

The upstairs lounge area is a great place for guests to relax and socialize. It has a TV with DVD player, games, free internet and a large balcony with views of Mele Bay.
