Our Oceanview Bures are distributed on the lower hillside across the stream to catch the soothing tradewinds and give you excellent views across the ocean. Prices are for two and include breakfast, tea/coffee and return Kadavu Island Airport – Resort boat transfers and all Taxes.

They have a private bathroom with a shower only and can sleep a total of 2 guests. 1 rollaway can be brought in to increase the number of guests to 3. They each have 1 bed.

Our top-end Honeymoon Bures are scattered widely on the hill behind Matava to ensure complete privacy and stunning vistas. Prices are for two and include breakfast, tea/coffee and return Kadavu Island Airport – Resort boat transfers and all Taxes.

They have an ensuite bathroom with a shower only and can sleep a total of 2 guests. They each have 1 bed.

Bedding Configuration – King Beds

There are several ways to get to Matava Resort.

Fiji Link serves the island of Kadavu with daily flights from Nadi and Suva. The direct flight from Nadi International Airport is on most days of the week. The flight from Suva is on Mondays.

Traveling by domestic flight from Nadi to Kadavu takes approximately 40 minutes.

Upon arrival you will be met by one of our boatmen who will load you and your luggage into a truck for a 5 minute ride to our guest transfer boat. The truck may stop for a few minutes along the way to collect some resort supplies.

Our boat will be waiting at anchor in a small calm mangrove bay. The ride to the resort takes about 45 minutes depending on the tide and weather conditions

If the airline elects to put on two flights, you arrive on the first flight but your luggage or other guests are on the second flight, you may have to wait for its arrival. Any such wait should be less than 30 minutes and the Matava Staff will ensure you are comfortable and relaxed while you wait.
